RD-1 + Noctilux

Tried the combo at F1 this morning. I find the focusing to be quite reliable. I'm also experiencing what I've read about how no mirror slap means the ability to hand hold at much slower speeds. This was 1/15. This allowed an Iso of 200, very nice to be able to shoot this condition hand held at Iso 200 for sure. I find the colors to be extremely accurate right out of camera with SilkyPix again. Best...Peter

no- a Frigadaire. All my money goes to lenses! For example, I drive a Civic Hybrid. When somebody rags me about the lenses and cameras, and complains they can't afford them, I just ask what car they drive. Usually my entire kit iis in the difference and then some! best....Peter

A great lens for sure .. did not swap the lens since i bought it.
I also use it with great results at F1.o with the R-D1 .. i had my doubts because the 75 lux wide open is hit & mis with the R-D1 .. but the Noctilux reallt rocks on that camera!

Oh, Peter, I meant the cookware...the blue pot you have there is Le Creuset...I have a big orange one like it, they call it a "dutch oven." Heavy as freakin' hell. But who cares, I love the results you're getting from your r-d1/noctilux. Hope you'll post some more.
