RD-1 Raw Converter Software

Hi All,

I owned an RD-1 (firmware upgraded) for most of 2006 and half of 2007 of 2007. Like most who gave it up for the M8, I of course have longing for many of it's positive attributes and unique image making characteristics...especially B&W.

The reason for this posting is when I sold the RD-1 I forgot to obtain or keep a copy of the supplied raw converter software which was excellent with RD-1 Raw files. Does anyone know where I can obtain another copy of this (RD-1 supplied Raw converter)? Many thanks in advance.

Capture NX

Capture NX

I have a related question. Do you happen to know if Capture NX can handle R-D1 raw files? I know Photoshop does, but am not sure about Capture NX. Thanks for any help, etc.

Hi ramosa,

Capture NX is a Nikon product. As far as I know it only supports NEF-Raw files from Nikon cameras.

If you speak of Capture One from Phase One, which of course is a totally different product, then you are lucky. C1 supports Epson R-D1 files.
