There is an RD1 on the KEH web site if anyone is interested. I'd cut/paste the link, but there is some cookies thing going on. The path is Home>LatestArrivals>Epson Products

The camera is listed as "RED DIAL-1 6M/P....". Their price is $2,289 (This is about what I paid for my new RD1s from Robert White), and about a grand more than the refurbs cost.

KEH's software has some kind of fuzzy-logic auto-fill-entry function, that doesn't function very well. "RD" gets converted to Red Dial (as in Leica IIIF-RD) . I've seen other funny examples too. As for the price, their pricers are probably unaware of the refurbs and their price, or the price of the RD1s from UK, and are basing their price on their normal % markdown from new retail price of $2999. Oddly enough, there's a better than even chance someone will buy it...someone who doesn't know the score, or wants one now, with a 14-day no-questions-asked no-restocking-fee return privilege. I've watched some items I knew were way overpriced, hoping they would eventually get marked down to a resonable level, but were snapped up along the way.

Like the famous Pentax *ist Double Stroke (Pentax *ist DS). A double stroke digital camera, even Epson didn't think of it...
