All captured in b/w, no cropping or pp done at all here

I have more that were captured in color, will show them at another time. They were essential for the family travel portion of the trip.

So for July, I've already been unable to shoot in b/w mode only, but have been able to shoot with just 1 lens ;)

ampguy, this is a great photo:

Thanks

Thanks

This guy was really fun to chat with. He has a lot of great info. on his ancestors - where they were originally, who and when they fought, and where they ended up. I plan to send him a photo, he keeps a scrapbook there with him at his table, with photos taken with him from folks around the world.

Which lens -- a 28mm?

yes, the Canon 28/2.8 LTM

yes, the Canon 28/2.8 LTM

I'm trying to do b/w, 2 lenses for a year. This trip was all done with a Canon 28/2.8 LTM lens. My other lens, a 50 lux, stayed in the bag the whole time.

Great shots ampguy. I'm *very* tempted to hunt one of these lenses down having seen what you've been able to do with it.

I own a 28/2.8 in user condition and it really match the RD1.
Compared with the VC28/1.9 and Rokkor 28, the Canon provides much more fun as it "draw" in differently @ 2.8, 4, 5.6, like many other lenses in the same era.

Thanks android and AhShun, yes, the lens is a great one. I've owned most RF 28's, and this one has low distortion, and is wonderful for b/w, and a bonus is a very small size. I use a Heavystar Canon to 43mm step-up ring, with hood from CV40/1.4.
