New to the RD1, it just returned from a service in Japan,
I have a couple of questions, since I couldn't find another one to compare so thought I should just ask here.
Only have a 50mm lens for the rd1, the frame line is not very accurate, the actual picture capture more area to both side and bottom of the image, I read somewhere it's only 85% coverage so I guess this is normal??
Secondly I think the line is not balance, the final picture is slightly clockwise rotated, so have use a spirit level to accurately compose some image.
Is this usual for the rd1 which just serviced? or it's probably me expecting too much?
Thanks

Never really thought about the frame coverage accuracy. I really don't know if its over or undersize. Regarding the wonky horizon. Yes that does happen eventually, but it should have been addressed when serviced. So the answer is no, not normal after a proper service.
