we have lots of images posted in the rd1 forum but rarely do i see any comments on them. maybe this is because we don't like them, maybe not...however, whatever...i would like to start getting some comments and i think you might also.
we need to start making comments to jump start this initiative.
i am suggesting a separate thread, a sticky, where we post our rd1 shots with the express purpose of getting comments!
any one else interested in this idea?
if there is enough interest then i will start a thread and sticky-fy it.

Well, yes, we all like to hear a little critique, preferably positive, that's why I usually post in the "Post your pictures" topics in the first place
I'm all for it.

Well, positive critique is alright, but I prefer fawning praise.
I think it's a good idea and it might get me posting. Thanks, BA.
In any case this post reminds me that I should comment more often. My lack of that has had nothing to do with not liking the shots. It was in fact the RD1 shots on this forum that led me to buy one.
My wife was oh so appreciative of the encouragment.

I've learned a great deal over the years about using my RD1 from the posts and opinions of our membership. So, this got me to thinking.
When we post to the up-coming thread I think we should also include some of the relevant particulars about the image. Such as: the normal question of what lens, did you use aperture-priority, did the image begin as a RAW file or was it an in-camera-jpg? If your image began as a RAW file, what software did you use to process?
