Hello all,
Just curious if any of you have had any experience having your Reala film printed on Kodak paper.
I use Reala for my color stuff and always send it to Dale Labs in Florida (they process C-41 and print on Kodak paper). I've always been very pleased with the results - processing/4x5's and enlargements.
This weekend I took a roll of Reala and a roll of 400 xtra to Wolf Camera and had them process and print on their Fuji Frontier Machine. I was a little dissappointed. Many of the prints are (what appear to me to be) a little too red - especially peoples faces. The feller at the counter assured me that they color correct and thats "just the way it is" - Whatever, won't be going back there again.
I'm wondering if this is a processing/printing error or a characteristic of the Reala and Superia printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper as opposed to Kodak.
I know a lot of you here only have your film processed and then scan the negs yourselves. But I'd like some feedback from those who have prints made as well.
Thanks
