I've got a Lomo LC-A with a lot of corrosion in the battery department that I'd like to get fixed (if possible). I contacted G'man (who has done great work on other stuff that I've sent him) but he's not taking any work at this time.
Does anyone know of someone else that is reliable and doesn't charge an arm and a leg?

Try Youxin Ye, people praise him in this forum as a very competent repairman. I don't know if he takes on other brands than Leica though...
Mail him at wye7 (a) yahoo dot com and ask!

Try http://www.lezot.com/servlet/StoreFront . I've had them do service on a couple of RF cameras and had great results. Good luck.

You should contact Mark Hansen at classcamera@aol.com and see if he can help you. He just did a nice job on my Rolleiflex. He told me he does a lot of odd work with stuff that others don't look at.

Update:
Youxin only works on Leicas. Mark gave me some advice on how to fix the problem and told me to get back to him if it doesn't work.
Anyone else got a recommendation? Not that I won't use Mark, just curious.
