Hi,
Does anybody know of a UK source of reasonably priced 39mm filters? The price of Leica ones is just obscene, but even a simple B&W UV runs to nearly £40 most places (when they even stock 39s! No DSLR lenses use filters that small so good luck finding a stockist…). Seeing as a 52mm Hoya multicoated can be had for under £10 I was hoping there’s a decent supplier somewhere that I haven’t yet found!

If you can accept Kood filters (and I haven't seen anything serious wrong with them), try Denton Photographic:

£6.95 for a 39 mm UV. They usually advertise in the back of Amateur Photographer - I've bought from them before and they were very helpful and quick (no connection).
