Received my Bessa R today!

I came home from class today and there was a little package waiting for me (I really was surprised to see how little the box was)! It was my new Bessa R, side grip, and mini soft release Stephen @ CQ! Unfortunately its just taunting me right now, because I'm still waiting on my lenses (a chrome Jupiter 8 from ebay and a 35/1.7 from a RFF member). I hate it when theres a new toy and you can't play with it 🙁 I guess I'll just have to deal with it for a couple more days...

On another note, I did not receive an invoice with the package. I was just wondering, is this normal or was it forgotten? I have no need for the invoice other than for warranty purposes (should a problem arise). And if invoices aren't included, how are warranties handled? I'm also asking because I did request the CV deluxe camera strap with my fax-in order, and it was not included. I have no thoughts at all that I was ripped off, iI'm sure ts either on backorder, or by accident it was sent out without it. I just don't know if I was charged for it or not. I can always give him a call tomorrow.

"On CameraQuest sales directly to the consumer, Voigtlander Serial Numbers are recorded BEFORE shipping, so there is no warranty paper work to fill out."

I would give Steven a call about the strap, but I did not get invoices with any of the stuff I bought from him either.

Thanks for the help! I probably read that a week ago or so after reading pretty much every page of his site, I just simply forgot. Thanks 🙂

Me neither. Guess he doesn't send them. He's the repair guy, he has a record of the sale so if something goes wrong you're not going to send it to Rich Pinto at Photo Village right? I guess Stephen is saving trees. 🙂
