Thanks for the tips and advice, gang. I will start noodling around with it tomorrow. I did update the firmware for the lens, I have just the 35/1.4 now, with the 28-55 on order. I expect to add the 14/2.8, assuming it performs as well as anticipated by year's end and then the 56/1.4 when it shows up next year. I've been blessed with many great cameras and lenses over the years, shooting with Leica SLRs from 1985-2008, then switching over to Nikon DSLRs. I never enjoyed the DSLR experience, I was misersble, really, and my work got very sloppy. I was about to pony up for a Leica M9 and three lens kit, but was hesitant as I never got on well with rangefinders despite liking the esthetics and size. This X Pro seems to be the perfect blend of traditional operation and modern technologies for me. I guess for some it's an odd mix but I am loving it! Here's hoping Fuji continues to grow this line for quite a while.
