Ride, dive, shoot.
My beloved Rollei 35 developed a problem with film advancing. Film advancing and cocking the shutter won't be completed by one stroke.
It is a really nice copy of German made Rollei and it has served me very well. I'd really like to get it fixed and continue to use it rather than selling it off on evilbay for parts.
I've searched on RFF and other forums, but most of conversations stopped with "sale for parts" or referring to some user manuals for DYI repair.
I'm aware that Harry Fleenor is probably the one I should turn to in the US (I'm in California), but I've also heard the waiting time is quite super long and communication with him is somewhat slow. Has anyone here dealt with him fairly recently? Or do you know someone else who does well with Rollei 35 in the US?
Thanks for your advice!

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this thread today. Around two years ago I sent a Rollei 35 to Harry Fleenor for repair. The camera was gone for about three months, but came back fully repaired. Mr. Fleenor wasn't the easiest person to get a hold of, but he wasn't the hardest either. If I remember correctly, his estimate for the repair was right on with the final bill, and a fair price too. I would recommend him.
