After my earlier post about flare or a reflection in my recently acquired Jupiter 12, I thought I'd post some shots that show what the inexpensive FSU lenses can do.

Both shot with a Leica M2 on Fuji 200 Superia, the first is from the Industar 61 and the second from the aforementioned Jupiter.

I am very impressed with the quality avaialble from FSU lenses for, basically, a song. What is best is that lenses like the Jupiter 9 and Jupiter 3, with fairly extreme specifications, are available at prices far below the cost of an equivalent Leica or Nikkor lens.

That's a scene about five miles from my home. That's really not clutter and junk around the fellow's barn, here in the mountains we call it "Appalachian Yard Art"!
