Recommend a lens for Dynax 9

I should clarify, it only appears dim when shooting in bright outdoor light, it's fine indoors etc

Probably it's logic is a bit simple, lightning up LCD only when light is dimmer than certain level? There sure is a mean to light up LCD - either by touching shutter release or by activating DOF preview or AE lock (this would be worst solution as requires two pushes of button not to end up w/ wrong exposure) - from my experience with other cameras.

Thanks for the reply. The logic is the reverse of what you say, the lights must be brighter in daylight than in dim conditions. I can't seem to get them any brighter.

Has anyone any comment on this? How do you find the viewfinder data on your 9?

Well here is a shot with the Minolta 35-105 (original) and the Dynax 9

It seems to be a very sharp lens, my ~80MP scans from the Plustek show great sharpness and detail

Hi,

Yes, nice shot and a nice lens. I've never come across a Minolta lens that wasn't very good to brilliant; they take some beating - even the P&S's.

Regards, David

Nice picture!
Re. the VF info, just checked, my Canon 1v VF info is brighter then my 9's. But I don't have complaints about my 9's VF info. To what are you comparing this?

Thanks David and Addy101. Regarding the VF data, it seems the be the data along the bottom of the VF that appears dim, I am not comparing it to anything in particular, I will pull out my 800si and compare.
