Recommend me a slide film

Fuji still makes Astia in 120 and 4x5. 135 is discontinued. I have not shot MF - only 135, but Astia is beautiful stuff. I have switched to E100G now, but Portra is great, too.

Great news if Astia in 120 and 4x5 is not discontinued. The big stores in NYC have not had it in stock for almost a year now. When B&H listed it as discontinued I bought a metric sh$tload of it from Freestyle. They seem to be the only place that still sells it in the US (that I can find).

I recommend Kodak Ektachrome E100VS. I just shot several expired rolls of this that I'd originally purchased from someone selling it on the Large Format Photography Forum. I was very pleased with the results, especially as the film had an expiration date of quite a few years ago.

You'll have to be a bit more specific to get better responses.
I thought that only 35mm is gone...Adorama seems to have 120.

For slide film, I used to prefer Fuji over Kodak, but right now, I'd say - get some of the new Portra - either 160 or 400 (I like the NC better) or even Ektar.

But Portra and Ektar are both colour negative films...
