recommend someone to develop in uk...

i have 4 or 5 rolls of ilford i want developed and scanned in the uk. i'm going to develop my own soon but i don't want to mess these shots up and i'm desperate to see them lol.

i noticed an old ad in amateur photographer which processed and scanned the negs but lost the add, anyone got any ideas? thanks 😉

Buy a book and be careful, you should be ok first time unless it is roll film (e.g. 120).

you're probably right mate, maybe i should just go all in and do them myself. 😉

....or load another roll, expose it on anything and develop that one yourself first, just in case. Then when you come to developing the treasured films you should be more confident.

I guess it depends on what level of service you require. Many speak highly of Peak Imaging although I've never used them. I do use Went End Cameras on Tottenham Court Road in London and I've been quite happy (but I don't do a lot of film).

I say put your heart into it and buy up equipment to develop yourself. If you aren't confident about these rolls use a few spare rolls to practice loading onto reels or even developing.

There is nothing in the world like pulling your first roll of film off of the reel and seeing all the images you created and developed.
