I've had Hexar AFs several times around but have always been frustrated when shooting ISO 400 film out in bright sun, as I prefer to shoot more wide open. But I've always been too lame to buy an ND filter...
This time it's going to be different! What do you guys use? Have you found any real difference between the B&Ws and the $10 eBay ones?
I'm thinking of going for the 6-stop super dark one -- taking 1/250 @ f/22 down to 1/250 @ f/2.8.

Many cheap ebay ND filters are actually plastic. Cann't imagine how they will stand up to cleaning, etc.
I recommend Hoya filters.
Also, no problem in buying good condition used filters from KEH.
On my Hexar I use ND8, BTW. When you go higher you loose contrast.

I use Hoya ND4 for my Hexar Af. Been happy so far......
