Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has recovered their original vulcanite on there m8s, or any other camera. I would like to see photos if you have. I find the original covering on the m8 to be a bit slippery and ran across a few websites such as http://www.cameraleather.com/. If anyone has used them or anything similar how was the quality of work? Would you suggest using someone else, or would you suggest leaving the camera as is?
Its not a huge deal, but personaly I would like something that looked and felt like the m6 covering.

This is with Griptac from Camera leather.
The base and grip are from Really Right Stuff.
I did not have any more griptac, so I used 3M stair tread on the grip, and rubbed it down until it was as smooth as the griptac.
This is a better view of the camera without the grip and base.

Recovering is really easy, about 10-15 minutes careful work. I chose Verdigris; a dark, subtle, and rather beautiful green which can't be photographed with flash without appearing bright and vibrant.
