Red Oktober 2014

I am super excited to be able to contribute to Red Oktober 2014! I loaded my first roll of film on my newly acquired Kiev 4! Once I have it developed and scanned, I will be sure to post my shots. Hopefully I dont embarass myself too much as this is my first FSU Rangefinder! :)

Hey I'm looking forward to seeing your shots. A Kiev in good working order is a nice camera. It's the one FSU I never got my hands on.

Time to load up the Kiev 4! Or maybe the Moscow 5. Now I'm kind of glad the Kiev didn't sell when I had it in the classifieds a while ago.

Is there any particular theme required for the pics, or it just a matter of using FSU gear?

I just got a FED-2 and a Zorki-4 so this would be a nice chance to give them a spin!

I just found this thread (late again!)

Now, Fed 1 or Cosmic? Maybe both.....

It's been a while since I shot film, a good excuse to get back to basics :)

Shot some rolls of Fomapan 100 Classic with my Kiev-88 at the beach last weekend. Haven't gotten round to processing the scans yet.

The Kiev-88 is still loaded, haven't found anything to shoot just yet.

....
My model has problems with slow shutter speeds, but thats alright, I'll just use it outdoors! :)

Have you developed you first roll yet? If not, hold your excitement, just in case.

I'm thinking of rescuing of the Zorki with dead curtains.
To make it works again as I did with previous two. I still have curtains material to do it again.

Only 8 frames left to the roll in this....

My Fed 3 and J-12, with VC finder. A really competent combination.

The theme is open to whatever you please. Just have fun. I had a Fed 2 but it gave up the ghost & gave it to farlymac (Phil). His repair skills are better than mine. I really liked that camera, but have a Fed 5 & Zorki 2. How do you like the Zorki 4 compared to the Fed 2?
