I was going to put my 25mm Snapshot Skopar up for sale, but I shot some film with it over the holiday weekend and WOW!

I've forgotten how good this little guy is.

Anyone else have any keepers they've shot with theirs?

Saldly sold mine when I sold my Bessa R and R2.
Thinking of getting another one (silver this time) for use with the IIIf while Stephen still has some in stock.

Can't for the life of me figure out why Cosina would replace fantastic LTM mounts with M mounts. M Cameras of course, but I would think that LTM lenses are far more marketable, being able to be used on both systems.

Would it have been that difficult to replace the 25/4LTM with a new 25/4 that is RF coupled (like the 21/4 is?) and maintain it as an LTM mount?

I suppose because CV is no longer producing LTM cameras they won't continue to make LTM lenses. Makes sense to me ...

As irrational as it may seem, I get kinda annoyed at having to use an adaptor with LTM lenses.

Great little lens!!
Unfortunately i sold mine to finance a 21 and 28 Skopar, but they are great too :D

One sweet lens, this with my RD1. I keep going back and forth on whether I want to get the new 25P...

Cheers,

I use it on a Canon VT RF body, so I appreciate the fact that it is a screw mount lens.

Whether discontinued or not, the CV25(LTM) is a sweet little lens. Very high contrast and saturation..

If you don't use them on an LTM at all, you can just dab a little bit of LocTite on the LTM>M ring and TaDa, you've got a nearly permanent M Mount!

I shouldn't complain I suppose. I'll be fairly set for all the LTM shooting that I really want to do with just a CV 21/4, a classic Summarit 50/1.5 and a calssic Emlar 90/4 for many many years.
