I missed this post...til now. Red Scale film looks cool. Like the photos you got using it. might have to try a roll...least once.:D

I've been carrying around a "vivitar onki 89" p&s I picked up at goodwill. Been having a blast with it.

After my first roll, Greg, I find myself being very selective in what subject matter I shoot in redscale.

Interesting, never tried it but these photos make me desiring to give a try. I like the shot with the old car in the field: this special colors give an out of time atmopshere.

What's he want for the car?? An Impala, is it?

Neat photos -- is this film currently available?

It's a Ford 1964 1/2 Galaxy 500 that has been modded a bit. No idea what they are asking. And with that front bumper hanging down, it needs some body/frame work.

The Kodak Hawkeye Surveillance ti2420 went out of production a long time ago, and someone came across a cache of it (most likely from a salvage sale), and was selling cans of it on eBay. I do believe it's all gone now. A friend of mine gave me some rolls he did up, and I'm working my way through those. I did notice someone selling a magazine of Dietz Surveillance 400, but that's the only one I know of. It's not in the normal bulk can.

I would think you could do this with any 400 speed (or faster) color film. I think the reason most folks do the ti2420 in redscale is because it's normal color rendition is somewhat lacking.
