In 2010 a thread was posted on said subject.
General conclusions were:
The Reflecta 7200 is faster (per same resolution), create smaller files but have lower reliability.
Quality of image looked similar between Reflecta and Plustek.

A year passed and I assume that most users have more experience.
Can you please share it?

We know that speed per same quality is a major factor as most of us have many 35mm slides/negative to scan
(Note: I know that the Plustek have a better price, but that price difference is not a major factor i.m.o. if you save time).
