i learned about baccala from a lady from chicago i dated years ago...she also taught me "the right way" to eat spaghetti you know, using a spoon and fork. her grandmother mainly spoke italian, could cook up a storm and never break a sweat. now, how did that one get away??....aarrggh.

yeah, coming back to this thread has really spiked my appetite for seafood itailano, portoguesa, mexicana, espana...next time i'm home off the road, i'll have to go to the fresh seafood store/restaurant, grab either some flounder, mahi mahi, or petrale sole and try not to botch it as i try my hand 'a seasoning & grilling.
