...the one posted by Pete Myers on the Zeiss site (it was discussed quite a bit here). The lens he used is now up for sale on the bay.
Professional photographers often have many good reasons for changing equipment. But given the earlier endorsement and without knowing any of the details, it seems ironic. (I'm sure there must be a good reason and I suspect it is because Mr. Myers disciplines himself to using only one lens one body for a set period of time).

We have all sold very good lenses for equally good (or bad) reasons. Maybe he will regret it! Still, I love mine! Very good all round lenses IMHO.

I will be keeping mine... unless they come out with a stunning f1.4 35mm.

Pete Myers has indeed switched to digital. Using a Nikon D3x, but with a Zeiss ZF 2/35 and his "first kiss" with this equipment is a color image ... see his recent article in Red Dog Journal:
