Found an old catalogue from 1975 put out by a local camera store with 4 locations in town. The town size was slightly less than 100,00 then. The store is no more and the town only slightly larger. The interesting part are the prices listed in the catalogue and a sticker claiming that the prices are MRSP and that their regular prices are lower. Please excuse the scan quality and be prepared to be sick. All prices are in Canadian dollars BTW. Read em and weep.
 
That's great info. Modern day cameras (film or digital) are not going to retain their values like that.
 
Leica CL for 650.00, thats what they go for now, talk about holding value!

That lens price list looks like Gandys Voigtlander prices, imagine a 50 1.2 Nokton for 1200 bucks.......thems the good old days for sure!
