Folks,

Here's the details as a reminder for this Sunday (SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!)

TIME: 1:00pm onwards
PLACE: The Rhino ( Website )
1249 Queen St. West ( Map )
Lots of food and beer and cameras.

Please try to bring one shot taken with one of your RF cameras - doesn't have to be anything major.. just a photo you like :) We can share and pass them around or such.

35mm shootout (I hope) will occur as well :)

Cheers
Dave

Damn, kid's baseball school.
Dave, if any GTA guys are interested they have 1st dibs on my 35mm goggled Summaron F2.8. ( I have the 'cron so this one's redundant). It's a beauty optically and cosmetically.
Price is negotiable and will consider trade for non-goggled version of the F2.8, or trade plus cash for non-goggled F3.5.

Did you say whether that was a Sunday?

Yes it is.

The multiple "Sundays" in the post maybe gave it away and if not, the title "December 2" should have :D

PS: I'm in the Pine Valley/407 area if someone wants to check it out at lunch one day.

Thanks for posting Dave. I was planning to do it later this afternoon. Any suggestions on film? I'd like to have it processed with scans on a CD. I'm thinking XP2, but I'm not sure ISO 400 is fast enough. Faster films are either colour or b/w that you push yourself. I actually wouldn't object to doing that, but how reasonably could I get an uncut home processed roll scanned?
For those who missed the earlier threads, bring a 35 or 40mm m mount lens & we'll include it in our highly unscientific comparison.

I think 400 may be "ok" but I think I may try Tri-X @ 800.

Either way, we'll be able to put them through the test on each body and rotate the lenses that way.

I'll bring a 35mm-135mm LTM to M converter if anyone brings an LTM 35

rude, the 22nd would've been better for me.

How many RFFers are going? If I know roughly how many, I can reserve the window tables.

400 speed film should be good with a tripod. Exposure is likely to be 1/30@f/5.6.

I'm bringing my Summicron-C.

Nancy: without you there will only be old men with old cameras...

I ran into PeterC today at Downtown Camera; he can't make it.
I know myself and Guy will be there.
I'm guessing others will as well.. probably 8 of us maybe?

Dave

Have we got any idea of numbers folks? or is it just going to be me, Guy and Victor? :D

Dave

just saw this... I'm not sure if I'm helping someone move or not... If I can I'll attend. I don't have anything tasty in 35mm that isn't already on this list. I don't own a 40mm because I have a fixed lens RF.. w a 40mm ..

I'm not eligible at all am I. Who set these criteria to exclude Nancy and me? Was this a deliberate plot?

Hey Victor, maybe I'll bring a TLR and ignore this "small film brigade's" gathering.. what say?
