Remove focus unit on a 35mm Summilux ASPH FLE and 90mm Summarit

Hi,

I am very interested in DIY Leica stuff.
So I saw this video and was little suprised how easy it would be to remove the focus unit of this 35mm Summicron ASPH lens:

So now I want to know if I could do it the same way with my 35mm SLX ASPH FLE and 90mm Summarit.

Somebody here has experience with it?
