Bottle opener. Re fingerprints, they're not as big a deal on the non-emulsion side, and no big deal at all for the first few inches. I just handle the film by the edges once the leader is cut. It's pretty easy to grip it by the edges while it's coiled on the spool. You'll get the hang of it. Trust me, I've had to re-wind so many aborted reel-loads you wouldn't believe it. Never had a finger print.

I found these at a yard sale...last time I used one of these was in high school...much easier than a bottle opener...
