How to do it? I remove the only visible screw that is on the "tube". It is up next to the aperture ring. I thought the fron group would either pull off or unscrew after removing this apparrent set screw. I get nothing.
I want to get in to do some cleaning of dust and what looks like a fingerprint. Please advise.

I can only speak about the Wetzlar Elmarit 90. The head detaches behind the aperture ring by simple rotation, and no retaining screws are involved. Between the machining quality, the fine thread pitch and the 5 rotations to detach, the head is quite secure. You may need to apply just a little bit of elbow grease. 🙂
