Does anyone know anywhere where I can get the goggle removed from my 35mm 2.8 summaron and then the focus recalibrated?

I know it would be cheaper and easier to sell my goggled lens and buy a non goggled one but it was my grandads and I'm never going to sell it and it's just sat in the safe not being used on my m3 but would on my konica hexar where the goggles don't line up.

While I think it can be done by a very skilled person (can only think of Don Goldberg for such a job), I cringe at the idea of removing another goggled lens from the world. Is it possible to instead purchase an M body and use the lens on that? Or, get a non-goggled summaron and know that the goggled lens is "intact", even if it sits in a safe?

But, yes it is your lens and you can do what you want with it. Don Goldberg (DAG Camera Repair) is the only person on Earth that I can think of for such a job. Will likely be more expensive than purchasing a non-goggled summaron or inexpensive (relatively) M body such as the M4-2 in classifieds right now.

Alex, have you tried the goggled Summaron 35mm on your Hexar RF ?
I'm sure it fits well as Hexar RF has the same optical layout in front as M.
Just the RF's VF has less magnification than M3, but usable as is.

Agree ^^ My goggled f/2.8 Summaron fits my Hexar RF as well as my M2... The VF window framing is compatible. Give it a try! I bought mine specifically to get the 50mm-sized 35mm framelines to appear in the M2... Some people don't like the goggled look, but to me there's a funky "steam punk" style. 🙂

I have not so will give that a try, as for buying a different body, I have an m3 already, just prefer the hexar in every way, fits me for what I want in a film camera. M3 was my grandads so won't sell that either.

Do not sell M3 and do not trash the lens. One day yours Hexar electronics will crap out and you will be glad you didn't ruined the lens.

I won't sell any of the camera gear I inherited. Just would like to use the 35mm more and would be great on my hexar. Would have loved to got an m7 but can get 6 hexars for the same price.

For the amount you will spend converting the Summaron, you might as well buy one without the Finder optics. It doesn't make sense. Don't ruin it, just buy a Summaron 35/2.8 for the M2. They cost about $850-$1250.
