repainting m-body

Here's the deal; I've been thinking of repainting my m2. I have done some serious painting before (few electric guitars etc.) and I'm 100% sure that the painting is not a problem - the problem is how to dismount the parts from the body without doing any damage? Do I need some special tools? I haven't even figured out how to remove film advance lever! 🙂

I remember seen some sort of thread/website where someone refurbished an M3...any idea where would that thread/site be (or any other similiar website...)?

you'll need that. i was thinking of repainting my m2 when i still had it. not sure i would have had the guts to really do a good job of it...repainting the black crinkle parts, the door frame, taking out the dings and dents, etc. good luck! i might have more links to help.
