Hi folks, I have a horseman 6x12 roll film back thats in need of some looking after- was curious if anyones gotten such backs serviced here in the US?

I ended up opening it up, the mechanism is pretty straightforward. It turns out it could be that the backing paper, if slippery, doesn't turn the roller/drum enough to count frames correctly. The other issue is that friction around the drums pivot point or misalignment can cause the drum to resist turning in a minuscule way that causes the drum to not turn (and not count) the frames correctly.
