Personal finances are dictating DIY haze removal. Has anyone any knowledge of such an animal? Searches haven't turned anything up on this topic....oh, BTW thanks to the powers for fixing the search function!

Removal of haze on this lens is simple and doesn't require diassembly unless you want to relube the helicoid.
Use a spanner to remove the retaining ring from the front element. Under that is a paper gasket/spacer that holds the front element in. Lift it off with a toothpick or other very soft tool.
You can now clean all the surfaces and reassemble.
