Can anyone recommend a repair person to CLA a Walz Envoy 35? There was a gentleman on RFF a few years ago named Mike Kovacs who apparently worked on a few of these, but I can not seem to locate him. There was also a moderator named Brian Sweeney, but he also seems to have disappeared.

Any help is appreciated. I have a good working one but the slow speeds are off and the focus is stiff.

Cheers,
Phil

I remind it's a copal SLV shutter, so most camera repair technicians should be able to deal with them. (well I do)

I just found one of these at goodwill for $5. The only issue so far is a really dusty viewfinder. Has anyone popped the top on a walz 35 to clean the VF?

Mine had a 50 Nikkor 2.0. Transport gave out after <100 rolls. Was not worth fixing.

I probably should have repaired it as I never see one listed with that lens.

It's a great little camera.
Of all my fixed lens RF's with a linked aperture and shutter ring, the Envoy 35 is the only one that is actually a joy to use.
The linkage works very smoothly and accurately with no struggle.
The shutter release is very smooth and advance is nicely geared. It's just a really nice piece.
Congrats again Sam. I hope you get it up and going nicely!
