Does anybody have experiences with replacement batteries for the R-D1? Especially with ones that don't come from Espon?
I know that there are some other cameras which use the same type, but I didn't find a reseller which offers oiginals (being Fuji, Kodak or whatever).

Any of the NP-80 batteries will do. I have a 'Ultrablast' UL-NP80 Li-ion battery, 3.7v/1650mAh. You can use a name brand like Fuji but will be a bit more pricy.

I use 'cheap' (less than US$5,00) from eBay as my spare batteries for the Epson. They work OK, though they run down somewhat quicker, lasting only about 80% of the original Epson battery. Not bad.
Older Kodak digital P&S cameras (eg DCS4800) also used this type of battery, and the Kodak designation is Klic 3000.
