Replacement hoods for Mamiya 6 lenses?

I have a Mamiya 6 rangefinder with 50mm and 75mm lenses, both purchased used, without lens hoods. I've noticed that the hoods for the 65mm and 80mm lenses in the Mamiya 7 system are claimed to be compatible with the Mamiya 50mm and 75mm lenses respectively. Given the high cost of used Mamiya 6 system hoods, I'm tempted to purchase these instead, being cheaper new than the used Mamiya 6 originals, but am concerned that the compatibility might only be approximate, with the original Mamiya 6 versions being more appropriate (e.g. better matched to the exact angle of view). Can anyone comment on this issue?

When I ordered a replacement hood for my 75 f3.5 Mamiya sent me the hood for the 80 for the M7. After two years of use I can report it works fine.
