Replacing infinity lock on 50/3.5

Hello everyone, i've recently acquired a Canon 50mm f/3.5 collapsible lens but with a missing infinity lock. Does anyone know if the lock from Industar 50mm f/3.5 will fit?

Dunno about Russian parts, but I believe it's the same hardware as contemporaneous Leica lenses. Don Goldberg at DAG Camera has the infinity lock kits (post, spring, screw) at a reasonable cost.

I've just bought a beat up industar off eBay. Hope the part fits. 🙂

The Leica part doesn't fit. No idea about the Industar.

I bought the correct part from Sherry Krauter for my Canon 35/1.8. Not cheap, but worth it to me.

(Why don't people just glue something into the stationary catch so that they don't have to remove the button?!?!)
