It is handy to have the handle grip for this camera that screwed into tripod socket (and a locating hole).
Don't limited yourself the type of boring panoramic pictures Ruben refers to, I've used the Horizont at amusement parks closeup and for portraits. See the type of work Jeff Bridges does with his Widelux:

It is a great fun camera, so much fun that it offsets the frequent glitches such as chewing up film sprockets and other winding problems. I once had a Widelux which had its own frestrations and problems so IMO the Horizont is more cost effective fun.
