Several years ago we treated ourselves to a holiday in beautiful Bali at one of their very nice villa resorts. Not a usual thing for us but my wife had been working very hard without a break for several years and I had recently ceased full time employment so we decided to take the plunge (figuratively and literally) for perhaps a once in a lifetime holiday stay at Ayana Resort. Believe me this is much more fancy than our usual fare. My only complaint would have to be that the resort was so nice, so large, so full of things to do (assuming of course that you mainly wanted to do absolutely nothing ;) ) that I seldom got outside the grounds to make photos elsewhere. It has to be said that the last time I was in Bali was about 15 years ago and in that time it has become much more developed, crowded and difficult to get around. It is still a pleasant destination if you can find the right location to visit and stay and in particular the Balinese are lovely people with a welcoming attitude and lovely culture but it does seem to be on the point of being loved to death and I am not sure how long it can go on that way. Still it's worth a visit if you have not been.

Let's see some of your holiday pictures at resorts or hotels where you have stayed. Does not have to be fancy - just normal family holidays though if the location of the resort is interesting, so much the better.

A few pics in Ayana Resort and Spa. Which I have to say blew me away and I would love to go back. I am not normally one to be pampered this way but......WOW!

Located on the cliff top of Jimbaran Bay Ayana Resort is far and away the most incredible setting I have ever stayed.

Oh and not to mention pulling a cork (or having one pulled for you). It was just that kind of place.
