My Rat Contax II has been transformed with stripped , polished bare metal , laquered , no self timer and tan leather reminiscent of the special edition cream and pigskin Contax . [ the original leather was useless ]
The leather is thinned , discontinued upholstery leather , so is unique to this camera .
Restored by the Arsenal techs , other than some screws , it's genuine .

That's a nice-looking camera body. That lens sure is a knock-off.

It seems that this is a fake Sonnar just for the pics and Mike has my real one tucked away - I would love to buy this lens too !

Dee - I hadn't seen you post for quite some time. Good to see you are still having a love affair with the Contax and presumably Kiev cameras. That one certainly looks nice.
