Inspired by JPlouse Neopan @ 800 in DDX thread and Telenous instruction on developing this configuration in RHS I went ahead, give it a try and here are the results.

Lens used is Canon 50/1.2 LTM
Neopan 1600 @ 800 in Rollei RHS 1+9 for 6 mins, 20C, 30 sec initial agitation, 10 sec/min after that, quite vigorous twirling, 3 turns in each direction.

Properly exposed: tight grain, sharp enough for me. Tonality is ok I think.

Slightly overexpose: ~1/2 stop and pulled back make grain more prominent

This is not a scientific test 😛 Just want to share my experience, as I don't see many people using RHS and so it might help somebody about to experiment with this combo.

Hi Hans Yes, that was me. Were all these shots made on the same roll of film? To me, the first 2 look quite good. The second 2 are a bit grainy for my taste. Neopan 1600 seems to react very strongly to certain developers and then has some really strong grain. My next posts will be my 125 Plus-X pictures developed in DD-X. Amazingly good tonality... But that's still coming... JP

First two look really good, just about like what I'm getting with Presto 1600 and DDX.
Canon F1.2 has a good look to it, too!
