Reticulation - is it? How to get rid of?

Hi there!
I am having these problems with some outdated film I have stored in my freezer.
I used different liquids and cameras, and the HP5+ is from a different lot than the FP4+ and I always get this kind of reticulation.
Was it because I frozen the film?
Am I doing something wrong?
Could it have developed fungus on the film?

On this roll of medium format I used the same developer and fixator and got a 'nice' result:

Any help would be good, since I still have a lot of this film and I am getting tired of this 'filter' 😉

it looks more like film not fully thawed before use or too quickly thawed. What do you do after taking film from the freezer.

It isn't normal reticulation, perhaps the film has been subjected to a lot of abuse by having condensation on it, or similar, but you avoid it conventionally by having all your processing temperatures the same, including wash.

To me, it looks like those fungus you get on lenses, but this time on film 🙁

It's not reticulation. Was the film sealed when it was frozen? It looks like moisture got in. Sealed film should be allowed to thaw slowly before you open it up after freezing. Take it out and leave it fully sealed for a couple of days. Freezing isn't really a great idea in general unless the film is carefully packaged and you really wish to keep it for years. Get some fresh stuff, life is too short.
