I remember doing the same thing as a young boy with bricks salvaged from the old defunct brick company in Texarkana..

Great photo!! It looks more "close-up" than the few photos that I've taken. My sister-in-law lives in Hurst. Going to the stockyards is one of the fun things we do when we visit her.

Jim (my husband) grew up around Euless...in Bedford. Soaking bricks. I'm curious now!

You sure make it look simple ! Photos look like they came out of magazines ! Like the ones cameras costing far more than these. Really good job.

Great cameras! People liked to take them on hiking tours as they were lighter and more compact than others. Also the first picture on Mt.Everest was taken with a Retina (And will stay so until they find Mallory's camera)
...Use them...also they are very quiet cameras....
Please could somebody explain the thing with the bricks and the water?
We used to salvage old Austrian bricks with the double eagle on them, they were sent to the States.
