A friend of mine has a Retina IIIC and a 80mm lens she wants to sell. Any idea on value? It's in good condition she says.

Are you sure it's the IIIC (big "C") and not the IIIc (small "c")? I ask, because that has a big effect on its value.
The 80mm lens is sort of mundane and doesn't add measurably to its value -- maybe another $20-$30, I would guess.
One thing that I've noticed: The prices of classic cameras seem to be cyclical. That is, sometimes they'll sell for quite a bit, and then sometimes they won't.
Prices for the Retina models seem to be down at the moment. I see completed eBay sales running for $50 to about $170 for the IIIc, while the IIIC gets about $50 to $75 more.
A better description of condition goes a long way toward placing a more accurate value on the camera.
Several years ago, the IIIc regularly sold for about $130-$150, while the IIIC was getting about $225-$250.
