I have been shooting my Leicas and Nikkor Lenses and enjoying the results. But I took out my Retina IIIc and was pleasantly suprised with the results. The Autumn colors were as vibrant as my Leica and Nikkor lenses. I will be using it more in the future.

I've been having the same experience. Great lens, compact folder body, and by far the quietest camera I've ever used... even quieter than the Hexar AF!

I'm a new owner of a Retina IIIc and I love it. Folding 35mm rangefinder, very little noise, accurate meter. The bottom-side winding lever is cool too :)

the Retina, especially the IIIc model, is very underestimated by many. It is a very capable camera that offers excellent image quality. I, personally speaking, prefer it over a Leica. Other opinions may exist, however.
