RETO Ultra Wide & Slim

Man, there's nothing wrong the sharpness of that lens. Yes, some serious flare shooting into the sun, but quite usable for summer camp pictures (q.v.). And the fresh Superia's color rendition is much better than the Ulramax's -- granted, the Kodak is expired, but still.

Actually, the Superia I used is also expired, probably around the same time as the Ultramax. I purchased it from Freestyle when they had a short-date special on 24-exposure rolls. So purchased in 2018, expired in/around March 2019, but cold stored in my film fridge. 😄 I guess the color has held up well since expiry.

All that said, I'm not even sure if "fresh" Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400 exists anymore, I believe Fujifilm discontinued that stock. Maybe X-TRA 400 is still available domestically in Japan...?
