I had a Bronica ETR-C once with the standard 75/2.8 lens. Either it's my mediocre skill (first time with MF ever) or the lens, but the results, while acceptable, never Wow-ed me.

Sold it and never looked back.

Now I got its replacement, a Mamiya 645 1000s:

So the weight-lifting exercise began 😀

I have had mine since 1977. It still winds the film just fine.

I also have the 45mm f/2.8 Will. It's a fine lens, approximately the same angle of view as a 28mm on a 35mm camera. If you can find a left hand grip, then the camera is super easy to handle at eye level.

Hey...that's my camera...well not exactly mine but I do have one of them...But not the 45mm lens...
It came with the 80mm 1.9 and I have picked up a 150mm 3.5 and a 55mm 2.8
I just got back from shooting with it this morning...shot two rolls of Neopan 400
I sometimes second guess the meter and I shouldn't...I know better now...
It felt heavy the first time I picked it up but now it just feels solid...
I liked the idea of a second shutter button but after hitting several times by accident I'm not too sure...if you could only switch it off...

Yep Chris, I'm now looking for that left hand grip.

I've also heard horror stories about when this camera are broken or misbehave. Apparently constructed in a very complicated way with too many parts to go awry.

Anyways, I intend to use it while it still usable. First test roll is quite good, I'll scan some pics when I get some time with the scanner.
