After a two year hiatus from developing B&W, I've decided to get back in the game. But during that time off, my old chemicals have been sitting in their containers in the garage the whole time - exposed to 100 degree heat in the summer.
I had a batch of Xtol in the containers, along with a 1 liter batch of fixer. Chemicals where disposed of this weekend, but I'm wondering if there might be a risk using the same containers for a new batch. The bottles that had the Xtol look clean, but the collapsible bottle that had the fixer has a sediment-like substance on the bottom. Some of it came off with washing, but much of it is still there. Am I safe to re-use? Or should I chuck everything? Or maybe just the bottle that had fixer??
Thanks!
