Rewind crank for IIIf?

I've been using the IIIf as my main camera for several years and love it - I don't even mind the film loading, it's not as slow as some think once you've done it a few hundred times 🙂.

imo, the really annoying thing is not loading but rewinding the film. on the net i read something about a rewind crank but only for M2/M3/MP. does anyone of you have a nice (DIY) solution for the screwmount leicas?
 
Ide be willing to tackle such a project. The problem is really the small size.
quick fix? Buy a used cq rewind lever for M, add gaffers tape...
I can imagine this working on a If,c,etc. Ugly, but it just might fit the bill

Just compared my MD knob to my If and it would appear they are only slightly different, a single layer of tae should do.
As far as fitting it on a IIIf, you may encounter some clearance issues with the rf housing.
