rewind release issue?

hi guys, i found an interesting m6 the other day but figured that the small rewind release knob isn't positioned exactly at 12 o'clock but rather leans towards 1. is that negligible or a sign of a flaw?

Sounds like it is just set to allow for rewinding. Take the bottom plate off and see if it pops back into place.

oh yes it does work fine and pop back, but not exactly to 12 - just a few mm less. could it be that the screw loosens over time?

For such a small object, "a few mm" would mean much rotation. That apart, this is not something to worry about unless it gives trouble.
